Executive Driving Services — Terms & Conditions (Alberta)

1) Who we are & Scope

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all executive/private SUV transportation and concierge services provided by Executive Driving Services ("EDS"). By placing a booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

2) Bookings, Changes & Substitutions

• Accuracy: You must provide correct pickup times, locations, passenger count, luggage info, and any special requirements.
• Verification: A pre-authorization may be placed before dispatch.
• Vehicle Substitution: We may substitute a comparable or higher-class vehicle if required for safety or operational reasons, at no extra cost.
• Delays Outside Our Control: Weather, traffic, road closures may affect ETA. We are not liable for indirect losses such as missed flights.

3) Rates, Waiting Time & Extras

• Quoted rates include vehicle, chauffeur, and standard distance/time.
• Waiting Time: 15-minute grace period, then billed in 15-minute increments.
• Tolls/Parking: Charged at cost.
• After-hours/peak surcharges may apply.

4) Cancellations & No-Shows

• Sedan/SUV: Free cancel ≥ 24 hours; 50% charge 2–24 hours; 100% charge < 2 hours or no-show
• Special Events: Free until 72 hours prior; 100% charge within 72 hours.

5) Passenger Conduct & Safety

• Seatbelts mandatory for all passengers.
• No smoking/vaping strictly prohibited.
• No open liquor or cannabis consumption in vehicles.
• Service animals allowed; pets must be pre-declared.

6) Cleaning, Damage & Downtime

• Standard detailing: $95–$150
• Spill/stain extraction: $150–$300
• Biohazard cleanup: $300–$600 + downtime
• Smoke/vape odour remediation: $250–$500

7) Payment & Chargebacks

• Accepted: credit cards, e-Transfer, invoicing (approved), cash.
• Overdue balances accrue interest at 1.5%/month.
• Unjust chargebacks may incur a $200 admin fee plus legal/processor costs.

8) Non-Refundable Deposit

A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings. This deposit is non-refundable at all times.

1) About this Policy

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

2) What We Collect

• Identity & Contact: name, company, phone, email.
• Trip Data: pickup/drop-off locations, dates/times, routing, instructions.
• Communications: calls, emails, messages through apps or website.
• Payment Data: tokenized card details via payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
• Safety & Compliance: incident reports, lost-and-found records, driver notes.

3) Purposes

• Accept, manage, and complete bookings.
• Dispatch drivers and provide concierge support.
• Verify identity, prevent fraud, and manage payments/chargebacks.
• Ensure safety and comply with Alberta laws.
• Send transactional notices; with consent, send marketing communications under CASL.

4) Consent & Your Choices

We rely on your express or implied consent under PIPA. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual limits.

5) Security & Retention

We use appropriate safeguards and retain information only as long as necessary. Afterwards, we securely delete or de-identify the data.
